Ahead Of Village Head Election In 219 Locations, Pati Police Raids Stalls And Confiscated 1000 Bottles Of Alcohol
PATI - Thousands of bottles of liquor (alcohol) were confiscated by officers from the Pati Police, Central Java from a number of stalls. The raids were carried out in order to create a secure situation, public order, and to create conditions ahead of the simultaneous Village Head Elections (Pilkades).
"It was recorded that thousands of bottles of liquor were confiscated from various locations in various sub-districts in Pati Regency," said Chief of Pati Police, Grand Commissioner Adjutant Arie Prasetya Syafa'at in Pati, as reported by Antara, Monday, March 23.
The raids were carried out in almost 30 places and were scattered in various districts. The implementation of Village Head Elections (Pilkades) itself will be held in 219 villages spread across 21 sub-districts. The amount of evidence that was confiscated from each location are varied.

Cipta Kondisi Raid is one of the police efforts to suppress criminal acts in the context of the Simultaneous Village Head Election stages. The majority of crimes and disturbances of public security and order originate from the perpetrator who consumes alcohol. For this reason, prevention is carried out by raiding liquor which is estimated that there are still food stalls, shops, and cafes so desperate to sell it.
Raids on liquor were also continued until the fasting month of Ramadan. Furthermore, the confiscated liquor will be destroyed because the Simultaneous Village Head Election in Pati Regency will be held on April 10, 2021.
For security during the implementation of the Simultaneous Village Head Election, his party deployed 1,603 joint personnel, including 898 Pati Police personnel, 300 BKO Pam Polling Station personnel from Rembang, Blora, Grobogan, Kudus, and Jepara Police, as well as 405 platoon bond BKO personnel from Blora, Grobogan, Demak, Semarang, Kendal Police, Central Java Police Crowd Control, and Central Java Police Mobile Brigade.
