Office Furniture For President Jokowi Has Arrived In The Capital Of The Archipelago (IKN)
The Nusantara Capital Infrastructure Development Task Force (IKN) reports that furniture for the needs of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) during his office at IKN has arrived at the IKN Presidential Office. The furniture landed at IKN on Thursday afternoon, July 25, 2024.
The head of the IKN Infrastructure Development Implementation Task Force, Danis H. Sumadilaga, told ANTARA that the furniture was sent from Jakarta and was available in the office workspace as well as the Presidential Palace at the IKN complex. "The furniture was prepared by friends from the Presidential Secretariat and the State Secretariat. Since Thursday afternoon it has landed," said Danis when met at the Pandang Tower, Jalan Sumbu Barat, IKN on Saturday, July 27.
When asked about the types and variants of furniture that have been available, Danis admitted that he did not know in detail because the furniture was still in a box packaging. However, he ensured that the furniture would be used to meet the work needs of the President and the implementation of the inaugural Cabinet Session at IKN.

Danis added that the Task Force has made maximum efforts to meet all the needs of the President while based in IKN, even though the final decision regarding the use of these facilities remains in the hands of President Jokowi.
"Of course, if the decision is based on him, it is with him. But we try to do our best in terms of responsibility to prepare infrastructure, then the State Secretariat and the Presidential Secretariat prepare furniture, we prepare it as well as possible. So, every time he decides to have an office or trial, God willing, it will be ready," he explained.
President Jokowi is planned to start based in IKN, East Kalimantan on July 28-29, 2024. During the visit, he will inaugurate the Balang Island Bridge and review the progress of IKN development.
