Police Arrest Male Teacher In Garut Doing Immorality To Male Students Since 2018

GARUT - The police arrested a teacher at a school in Garut Regency for allegedly committing immoral acts against male students since 2018.

He said the case was revealed after reports from the public regarding a male teacher suspected of committing immorality to his students. The Singajaya Sector Police then arrested the suspect on Thursday, July 25.

He said the suspect's initials OM (38), a resident of Peundeuy Subdistrict, Garut, who carried out his immoral act at the perpetrator's house, which had been going on since 2018, but his party was still investigating further.

"Still in the process of unscrupulous teachers molesting their students," he said.

He conveyed that the results of the suspect's temporary examination in carrying out his actions pretended to provide lessons such as computer lessons at his home, so students wanted to.

The suspect also gave Rp. 20,000 to the victim, and asked each victim not to inform other people about the incident.

However, his actions were finally exposed and the Singajaya Police arrested the perpetrators, along with the evidence, then the case was handed over to the Garut Police Women and Children Protection Unit.

"Currently we are still investigating the perpetrators, and three victims are all underage," he said.

Regarding the immoral victims, the unscrupulous teacher also received attention from the Child Protection Commission to provide assistance to victims, as well as in their legal handling.
