Riding Tronton To Brawl, 6 Sukabumi Students Bring Sajam Secured In Cianjur
The Cianjur Resort Police arrested six students from Sukabumi who were caught carrying sharp weapons during the 2024 Patuh Jaya Operation raid on Jalan Raya Cianjur-Sukabumi. The students allegedly wanted to fight.
Head of Cianjur Police Traffic Unit, AKP Anjar Maulana, said that when he held a raid on a noisy exhaust and traffic violation in the Warungkondang area, his party saw a number of students riding a tronton truck from Sukabumi to Cianjur.
"Because open tub vehicles are not used to transport people, so we immediately stopped the truck that was boarded by six students wearing Sukabumi Vocational High School uniforms," he said in Cianjur, Thursday, July 25, which was confiscated by Antara.
After an examination, two sharp weapons were found from inside the student's bag, so the six of them were immediately secured to the Warungondang Police Station, for further questioning because they were suspected of having prepared two machetes in case.
"One of the students admitted that a sharp weapon had been prepared beforehand on the pretext of being on guard, so we handed over the six students to the Warungkondang Police for further investigation," he said.
