"It (the Tokyo 2020 Olympics) was not right for me," Curry at the time told the New York Times.
Now, the 36-year-old is set to win gold in Paris alongside other NBA stars, such as LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Joel Embiid.
Seeing a row of star players owned by the United States, they became favorites to win the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
2. Arisa Trew - Australia (Skateboard)
Arisa Trew from Australia is still 14 years old. He had made a breakthrough in the skateboarding world before he was a teenager.
At the age of 13, he became the first female skateboarder to land 720, a trick popularized by world skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, in 1985. The trick consists of two full laps in the air.
She made headlines once again when she became the first woman to get the 900 trick two months ago.
After successfully performing the trick, Trew said that it was a dream come true.
Trew won the X Games title in early July 2024, less than a month before the 2024 Paris Olympics. All eyes are currently on the Australian athlete. He is preparing to shake the stage of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
3. B-Boy Shigekix - Japan (Breaking)
Sport breaking will make its debut at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Japan's B-Boy Shigekix has long been a favorite for gold medal in the men's breaking competition.

Richardson has caught the attention of many people quickly. He graduated from high school in 2018 as the number one female athletic athlete in the United States.
During his first year of study at Louisiana State University, he ran 100 meters with a time of 10.75 seconds.
The record made it one of the 10 fastest women in history and broke the college record at the event.
Now, he will enter his first Olympics as 100 meters and 4 x 100 meters relay world champion by 2023. All eyes will be on Richardson as he steps on the track.
