Startup4 Industry Investment Summit Becomes Inclusive Funding Access To Startups
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) through the Directorate General of Small, Medium and Multifarious Industries (IKMA) has held the Startup4 Industry Investment Summit 2024 forum.
This event is a forum that can have a much larger positive multiplier impact on the development of Indonesian tech startups.
IKMA Director General of the Ministry of Industry, Reni Yanita, said this forum was to bring together selected startups from the Startup4Industry program with potential investors, both from within and outside the country.
It aims to open up inclusive funding opportunities for startups, accelerate their growth and encourage innovation in the industrial sector.
"Startup4industry Investment Summit 2024 is expected to be a forum for startups to present their technological solutions to investors, get valuable feedback and establish strategic partnerships," said Reni in a written statement, written Tuesday, July 23.
The launch of the Startup4 Industry Investment Summit 2024 marks the closing of the manufacturing tech startup meeting forum in Indonesia through the Tech Link Summit 2024.
This activity, which is intended for industry, technology startups and other stakeholders, officially closed on Saturday, July 20, 2024, which marks a new chapter in accelerating the transformation of industrial technology in Indonesia.
Reni also stressed the importance of a thorough evaluation of the Tech Link Summit 2024 as the key to measuring the real impact of this event and formulating a more effective strategy for the Tech Link Summit 2025.
"This is also the Ministry of Industry's commitment to continue to encourage collaboration between startups and industry players," he said.

According to him, Tech Link Summit 2024 is not only a meeting place between startups and industry players, but also a forum for cross-sectoral collaboration.
He said that the involvement of the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration as well as the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) is proof of the government's seriousness in encouraging technological transformation in all levels of society and the economic sector.
