South Sumatra Police Failed To Smuggle 37,804 Lobster Seeds Into Vietnam

PALEMBANG - Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of the South Sumatra Regional Police, personnel thwarted the smuggling of 37,804 clear lobster seeds to be sent to Vietnam.The Head of Public Relations of the South Sumatra Police, Kombes Sunarto, confirmed that the disclosure of the lobster seed smuggling case occurred on Monday morning at around 02.30 WIB.The perpetrator of the lobster seed smuggling, reported by Antara, Tuesday, July 23, was arrested on Jalan Letjen Harun Sohar, Kebun Bunga, Sukarami District, Palembang.The perpetrators who were arrested had the initials HA (29), a resident of Padang Hamlet, Pubian District, Central Lampung Regency, Lampung Province and FDA (30) from Nyukang Harjo Village, Selagai Lingga District, Central Lampung Regency, Lampung Province.The arrests began with members of Unit 4 Sub-Directorate IV Tipidter of the South Sumatra Police Ditreskrimsus who received information from the public if there were vehicles carrying thousands of clear lobster seeds that would pass in Palembang City.After an investigation, on Monday morning at around 02.30 WIB, the South Sumatra Police team saw two white Daihatsu Grand Max and white Suzuki APV stopped on the side of the road.Officers then checked and found the car carrying clear lobster seeds packaged in several boxes.
Officers asked about the completeness of the documents for the delivery of lobster seeds, but the perpetrators could not show them so they were secured to the South Sumatra Police Ditreskrimsus headquarters for further processing.
