Chery Holds A One Year Special Modification Competition For Omoda 5, With Prizes Of Tens Of Millions And Trips To China

JAKARTA - In celebration of the one-year success of Omoda 5 in Indonesia, PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) announced that there will be a modified competition titled Omoda 5 Festival 2024 The Art of Contest.

This competition is a forum for designers, modifiers, and vehicle owners to express their creativity in the SUV.

Head of Brand Department of PT CSI Rifkie Setiawan, said that the work of the modifiers will be judged by the judges and the winners will get attractive prizes.

"The Art of Contest 5 Festival opens up space for creativity for the general public, the automotive modification community, and Chery consumers who want to explore the appearance of OMODA 5 are getting cooler," said Rifkie in an official statement, Tuesday, July 23.

The participants will have the opportunity to get a total prize of IDR 70 million and four trip packages to China. This travel package will provide an opportunity for winners to understand more about the strength of Chery's corporations, advanced factories, and the results of the latest product innovations.

In this competition, the prize will be divided into two categories. First, the Digital Decals Modification Contest (Digimodz) for students, professionals, and consumers. Digimodz category participants can maximize the creativity of modifications to the exterior determinals or livery without making any other modifications. Participants are welcome to use color change, graphic addition or design that focuses on Futurism, Fashion and Tech in each of their works.

The second category is the Modification Contest Chery Omoda 5 which is devoted to the owner of Omoda 5. The main requirement in this category is the necessity to implement a modified design on the exterior of the OMODA 5 unit belonging to each participant.

During the implementation, the manufacturer will collaborate with the National Modificator & Aftermarket Association (NMAA) as well as present credible judges in the modification industry in Indonesia.

The event starts from July 22 to September 10 and is conducted online. Thus, Chery provides more than two months of opportunities for modifiers to pour their art.
