Ukrainian Drone Attack Hits Russian Kursk Monastery, One Person Dies
JAKARTA - A drone strike aka a Ukrainian military drone attacked monasteries in the Russian Kursk region. Region Governor Alexei Smirnov said one person was killed.
Reported by Reuters, a Mash Telegram channel said a 60-year-old man was killed after a drone fired eight projectiles at the St Monastery. Nicholas Belogorsky in Gornal, a village near the Ukrainian border, Friday, July 19.
Like other Russian border areas, Kursk is often attacked by Kyiv forces.
On Tuesday, a drone strike on a factory producing electrical equipment in the city of Korenevo caused a fire that did not cause any casualties.
