For this reason, the Indonesian Navy's Marine Corps was appointed to prepare two platoons, in this case with 21 personnel each plus supporters, platoon commanders, company commanders, and reserves. A total of 53 personnel," Endi told reporters at the Marine Knight Hartono, Cilandak, South Jakarta, Friday.
He said the Marine Corps also prepared four vehicles carrying personnel and troop equipment for purposes at IKN. "Our troops departed on August 5th," he added.
The government has set a ceremony to raise the Red and White flag to be held at the main field of the IKN ceremony on August 17, 2024.
"The journalists have seen how they train for the purposes of the ceremony. Wherever the Indonesian Navy's Marine Corps is displayed or for whatever purpose it is, they must give their best," said Endi.
"Because this ceremony was first held there (IKN), we prepared our best soldiers to be trained and prepared as best as possible," added Dankormar.
