Volvo EX30 Lakoni Debut In Indonesia Through GIIAS 2024, Sold From IDR 800 Million

TANGERANG - Volvo Cars Indonesia launched EX30 at the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). This car marks the manufacturer's work in transition to full electrification.

The model is positioned as an EV at affordable prices in Europe and the United States with a price range of 40 thousand US dollars (equivalent to Rp648 million) and EX30 also won the 2024 World Urban Car award and one of the three best cars in the world in a New York International Auto Show nomination.

General Manager of Volvo Cars Indonesia, Haryanto Djayaputra, said the presence of EX30 also answered the market demand for a compact SUV.

"The demand for a globally compact electric SUV is huge, therefore we introduce EX30 with two variants," said Djayaputra at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Friday, July 19.

EX30 is also designed with a charming design. Its modern and elegant appearance combines the typical style of Volvo with futuristic elements. Its vast and comfortable cabinet offers a pleasant driving experience for both drivers and passengers.

The EX30 Volvo has a compact dimension, with a length of 4,223 mm, a width of 1,937 mm, a height of 1,555 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,650 mm.

The car is equipped with an 18-inch alloy rim, LED headlights, one-zone climate control system, adjustable front seat, and 12.3-inch mid-screen that controls multiple functions. Its infotainment system also supports connections with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

EX30 is offered in the Plus and Ultra variants in Indonesia. These two variants have an impressive number of performances and distances with the choice of Single Motor and Single Motor Extended versions.

Volvo offers an EX30 with a range of up to 476 km according to the WLTP with NMC and LFP battery options. The car is equipped with fast DC charging capabilities, allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in about 26 minutes.

Then, its performance is supported by a single electric motorbike driven by a rear wheel with a power of 200 kW by being able to run from 0 to 100 km/hour in 5.3 seconds.

Speaking of prices in Indonesia, EX30 is priced from IDR 890 million to IDR 1.160 billion On The Road DKI Jakarta for the Indonesian market.
