Royal Enfield Releases Two Latest Motorcycles At GIIAS 2024, Most Expensive Touches IDR 245 Million

JAKARTA - Not only the launch of a new car, but GIIAS 2024 is also enlivened by the presence of the newest motorbikes, one of which is from Royal Enfield.

At this year's grand exhibition, Royal Enfield launched two models at once, namely The All-New Himalayan 450 andtens 650, which were exhibited at ICE BSD, Hall 11, Booth B10.

"Indonesia is an important market for Royal Enfield in Southeast Asia. Today, we are proud to announce the launch of two newest motorcycles in Indonesia, each with a unique destination and style," said Anaj Dua, Royal Enfield's Business Head of Asia Pacific Markets, at the launch which took place Thursday, July 18.

The All-New Himalayan 450

The All-New Himalayan 450 is a motorcycle designed to inspire self-confidence and reliability to go anywhere. With the latest water-cooled Sherpa 450 engine and 6-speed gearbox, it was created specifically for driving in the Himalayan mountains. Its chassis and ergonomic design is well suited for adventure touring, making the All-New Himalayan 450 motors tough for across various terrains and extreme weather around the world.

Meanwhile, flight 650 is a motorcycle inspired by Royal Enfield's customization tradition, providing empty canvases for personalization for motorcycle enthusiasts around the world. With the new bodywork and distance, flight 650 challenges the traditional categories of motorcycles, adapting to the personality of the rider. Made entirely of iron with a simple construction, the bike offers maximum flexibility for customization.

Prices and Availability

The All-New Himalayan 450 andwarf 650 are available for purchases in Indonesia starting July 2024. Prices for the Himalayan start at IDR 151.4 million for the Base variant, IDR 156.5 million for the Pass variant, IDR 159.6 million for the Summit variant, and IDR 162.5 million for the Summit variant (Tubeless). Meanwhile, 650present is available at a price of IDR 237.8 million for the Base variant, IDR 241.5 million for the Mid variant, and IDR 245.3 million for the Top variant.

With this launch, Royal Enfield reiterated its position as a leader in the motorcycle industry, offering products that are not only attractive but also functional and reliable for the needs of motorists.
