KPK Brings Acting Head Of Semarang City DLH After Search

After conducting inspections at four official offices within the Semarang City Government (Pemkot), the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) brought the Acting Head of the Environment Agency (DLH) Diah Suparningtias.

Diah, wearing a red batik shirt, was seen entering the back seat of the KPK officer's car and leaving the Semarang City Hall office, Thursday, July 18 at 15.50 WIB.

Even before getting into the car, KPK investigators were also seen confiscating Diah's cellphone, which at that time was also being investigated at the 8th floor Moch Ihsan building along with several other service heads.

The search and inspection were a continuation of the activities the day before carried out by the KPK in the deputy mayor's room, regional secretary, and the Semarang City Goods/Services Procurement Agency. The search was related to the handling of three cases of alleged corruption within the Semarang City Government.

Previously, KPK investigators searched the room of the mayor of Semarang on Wednesday. On Thursday, KPK investigators searched a number of agencies in the Semarang City Hall complex, namely the Social Service (Dinsos), the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), then the Communication and Information Office (Diskominfo), and the Semarang City Housing and Settlement Service (Disperkim).
