Agus Gumiwang Will Meet Zulhas Tomorrow To Discuss The Illegal Imported Goods Task Force
Minister of Industry (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita admitted that he would meet with the Minister of Trade (Mendag) Zulkifli Hasan or Zulhas at the Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) office tomorrow, Friday, July 19.
Minister of Industry Agus said the meeting was to discuss the formation of a task force or task force to eradicate illegal imported goods entering Indonesia.
"Just a leak to reporters, tomorrow I will meet him, Mr. Minister of Trade (Zulkifli Hasan) at 10.00 WIB in the morning," Agus said when met at the PIDI Building, Jakarta, Thursday, July 18.
In principle, Agus said that his party supported the formation of the task force. However, he said, what needed to be underlined was how law enforcement to eradicate illegal imported goods was actually carried out.
"We support him (Mendag Zulhas) to form a task force to eradicate illegal goods entering Indonesia. We emphasize that in teamwork later is how we enforce the law. So, don't be barren of law enforcement," he said.
"It may be underlined that you should not be barren in law enforcement, even though the regulations are already good," he continued.
According to him, the meeting with the Minister of Trade Zulhas will find a solution so that the performance of the manufacturing industry in the country is maintained.
"The Trade Minister is my senior. So, I have no problems for seniors and close friends. Our interest is to find a solution so that our manufacturing industry can be maintained," he added.
Previously, Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan said that the task force (task force) to overcome illegal imported goods would be formed this week, precisely on Friday, July 19.
