Snapcart Encourages All Partners To Participate In BPJS Employment

JAKARTA - The Snapcart application company is working with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Jakarta Grogol to make all of its partners registered as participants in the Employment Social Security (Jamsostek) program.

This cooperation was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding in Jakarta.

The signing was carried out by the Director of PT Snapcart Aplikasi Indonesia Aubert Purwadi and the Head of the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Jakarta Branch Office, Grogol Rommi Irawan Makagiansar.

Aubert Purwadi said that his party is a company engaged in application technology with a focus on better environmental impact analysis.

The public knows him by the Snapcart application, one of which features giving cashback by uploading shopping receipt photos.

For this reason, his party together with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Grogol will register BPJS Ketenagakerjaan membership with partners.

Among other things, the Madura food stall community which is spread throughout Indonesia, fishing communities, field workers, and other informal workers.

Meanwhile, Head of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Jakarta, Grogol Rommi Irawan Makagiansar, said that his party would provide registration services to all Snapcart partners.

Rommi said all of Snapcart's partners would be registered with the non-wage earner segment (BPU).

"In the Employment Social Security program, non-wage recipient groups or BPUs can register at least two basic protection programs, namely Work Accident Insurance (JKK) and Death Security (JKM). The lowest contribution for the two programs is only Rp. 16,800 per month," said Rommi.

Rommi said, the JKK program provides unlimited or unlimited benefits in ensuring the recovery of participants who have work accidents.

"All medical needs will be covered by JKK without any cost limit and without a recovery time limit until the participants recover and return to work," said Rommi.

If the participant dies in a work accident, the heirs will receive compensation worth 48 times the registered wages.

Likewise, the JKM program provides compensation to the heirs of Rp. 42 million if the participant dies, not a work accident case.

Not only that, there are also additional benefits in JKM and JKK, namely scholarships for two of the participants who died or suffered permanent defects due to work accidents. The scholarship applies from kindergarten age to college graduation.

"With the lowest contribution, only Rp. 16,800, the state provides enormous benefits to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participants, it's a shame if workers don't have it," he said.

However, according to Rommi, participants should at the same time register with three programs, namely by adding the Old Age Security (JHT) program with a contribution of IDR 20,000.

So that the total dues for these three programs are each person with the lowest dues of Rp36,800 per month

This JHT is a favorite program for participants from ancient times. Because the results of JHT development always prove themselves to be above the commercial banking interest average so that the savings money quickly increases," said Rommi.
