Indomobil Group Optimistic To Face The Future Of Electrification In Indonesia
JAKARTA - At the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024 Indomobil Group exhibition, Indomobil Group participated by displaying 14 four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicle brands under Indomobil.
Not only showing the ranks of its superior products, this event is also a strategic step for Indomobil Group to show its commitment to welcoming the electrification era in the country.
"In line with Indomobil Group's commitment and the active role of corporations in reducing carbon emissions, we carry all brand lines under the Indomobil Group flag at the GIIAS 2024 event, as well as showing the direction of Indomobil's future towards the electrification era in Indonesia," said Indomobil Group Director Andrew Nasuri, at GIIAS 2024, Wednesday, July 17.
As is known, since the last two years Indomobil Group has taken various strategic steps in order to expand the reach and penetration of electrification in Indonesia.
Various collaborations with global brands have been carried out by Indomobil Group in various segments, ranging from motorcycles, leading passenger car brands to commercial vehicles.
"With the portfolio, network and experience of the Indomobil Group in the automotive industry in Indonesia for almost 50 years, we are proud to be collaborating with various international brands that offer various types of electrification vehicles, ranging from the entry level to premium segment, from two-wheeled vehicles to commercial vehicles, "added Andrew.

It is noted that currently, Indomobil Group has collaborated with Audi, Citromen, FOTON, GAC Aion, Harley Davidson, Great Wall, Hino, Jaguar, KIA, Land Rover, Maxus, Mercedes Benz/Smart, Nissan and Volkswagen. All these collaborating brands even have various specific advantages in terms of electrification which makes Indomobil Group one of the largest automotive industry groups in Indonesia.
"We will also add several partnerships with global brands in the future to continue to strengthen our commitment to supporting the Indonesian government's move to reduce carbon emissions by 31.89% by 2030 and become carbon neutral by 2060," said Andrew.
To support this commitment, Indomobil Group will also continue to develop and add a network of dealers that have been owned by the lower brands in order to provide the best service as well as special experiences for consumers of products under the Indomobil Group. Currently, there are at least more than 300 dealers and 8,000 points of the full-sale service network, distribution of spare parts, vehicle financing services and other supporting services throughout Indonesia.
Furthermore, the strategic partnership between the Indomobil Group and these brands is not only in terms of marketing and full-sale services, but is also expected to step into manufacturing cooperation to produce these electrification vehicles in Indonesia.
