United Tractors Achieve Awards At The 2024 DKJ Awards

JAKARTA - PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) won an award at the 2024 Jakarta Cooperation Derap (DKJ) Awards. This award was won for its program which was consistent in solving stunting problems through the Transforming Undernutrition to Thriving and Sustainable (TUNTAS) program.

The handover of this award was given directly by the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono to CSR Manager UT, Himawan Sutanto, who is located at DKI Jakarta City Hall.

Himawan Sutanto expressed his gratitude for this award. According to him, this award further motivates his party to contribute more to the reduction in stunting rates.

"Accelerating stunting reduction is a positive step in realizing quality and highly competitive human resources," Himawan said, quoted Thursday, July 11.

"In the future, UT will always improve public health, especially in completing and preventing an increase in stunting cases in DKI Jakarta," said Himawan.

For information, the 2024 DKJ Awards are divided into three main categories, namely Community, Health and Environment Empowerment.

There are three assessment indicators that are considerations for victory in this award, including related to sustainability, innovation, and coverage of positive impacts from programs for the community.

The jury who gave the assessment at this event included the Head of the Communication and Public Service Bureau of the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes), dr. Siti Nadia Tarmizi, M.Epid; Head of the DKI Jakarta Health Service (Dinkes), drg. Ani Ruspitawati, MM; and Consultant Fertility and Endocrinology and Gynecology, dr. Boy Abidin, Sp.OG (K).

The series starts from socialization and registration on June 4, which is attended by 138 registrants including business entities, institutions, and foundations.

After that, 33 company nominees were successfully screened following the presentation of the program on June 5. Then, on June 10 - 11 there was a judging with field vision as proof and assessment by the technical jury team.

The next stage includes interviews, presentations, and questions and answers regarding the program being held on June 14, at the Hotel Borobudur, Central Jakarta. From this final stage, there are 15 company nominees from the entire category.

The DKJ Awards are an award for business entities that have participated in assisting the provincial government through the company's CSR program, organized by the Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta as part of the celebration of Jakarta's 497th Birthday (HUT).

To note, TUNTAS is the Company's initiative to eradicate and prevent stunting through the corporate social responsibility (CSR) program in the health sector, namely UT for Community Health Responsibility (UTCARE) which is an effort to improve access to health services for the community.

In particular, this program is focused on stunting interventions in the Company's Ring 1 operational area in the West Cakung, Milling, and Rawa Terate areas.

This program involves collaboration with various parties, including health practitioners, health centers, posyandu cadres, and the local community. The final result of the program is the provision of education and nutrition assistance to pregnant women, toddlers, and families.

With the award received, UT is committed to continuing to innovate and develop various CSR programs for the community, especially in the health sector.

This is in line with the Company's commitment to continue to make a positive contribution to the welfare and sustainability of the community by implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) aspects.
