Two Elderly Rotting In Jonggol, Police Estimated Dead Three Days Before Found
JAKARTA - An elderly couple or husband and wife were found dead at their home in the Jonggol area, Bogor Regency. When found, both of them were in a decomposed condition.
Based on the upload of the Instagram account @dr.iponghembingputra, the two elderly bodies were found by local residents.
Starting from the suspicion of neighbors who have never seen the whereabouts of the husband and wife with the initials H and R in recent years. Moreover, their condition is said to be sick.
Therefore, local residents took the initiative to check by forcing their way into the house. After the front door of the house was successfully opened, they went inside to confirm the whereabouts of the two elderly.
From the video footage, it appears that the condition of the house is very messy. The neighbors who looked for the two elderly entered one of the rooms.
There, the two elderly were. However, the husband and wife have died in a rotting condition.
Regarding the deaths of the two elderly, Jonggol Police Chief Kompol Wagiman stated that the two bodies were found on July 13. From the results of the investigation, the husband and wife died three days before their existence was found.
"Approximately 3 days, (the body) has emitted a smell," said Wagiman, Tuesday, July 16.

Regarding the cause of death, it is suspected that it was due to a disease. Because, based on the statements of witnesses who are neighbors, one of the elderly has been debiting receipts for a long time.
Moreover, there were no injuries or other signs of violence that caused death.
"The two elderly only have two husband and wife, according to the witness, his wife has been sick with receipts for a long time and her husband is also elderly," said Wagiman.
