DKI Bawaslu Finds Joki Pantarlih And Residents Under 17 Years Of Registering To Be Pilkada Voters
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) found a number of problems in the matching and research process (coklit) carried out by the DKI Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) voter data updating officer.
One of the findings is that there are ways to use jockey services to carry out their duties. This case was found in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.
"There are 2 lovers who do not go directly or door to door in Tanjung Priok District," said DKI Jakarta Bawaslu Violation Management Division Coordinator Benny Sabdo to reporters, Tuesday, July 16.
In addition, the DKI Bawaslu also found that there were residents who were not yet 17 years old and were not married, but were included in the voter list. The person concerned should not have received his voting rights in the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada.
"In the Thousand Islands Regency, the ranks of the election supervisors found people who were not yet 17 years old and not married in the bulk to become voters, so they were recommended to be crossed out," said Benny.
Then, it was also found that residents' houses had not been hacked but had their stickers attached as markers as voters. The number of families who have not been hacked but affixed with stickers in the Senen 40 KK sub-district and in Mampang Prapatan 2 KK sub-district, Kebayoran Lama District 45 KK, Jagakarsa District 13 KK, Matraman District 3 KK, and Duren Sawit District 13 KK.
Furthermore, there are residents who have been hacked but not affixed with stickers. This case occurred in Senen District as many as 16 families, Menteng District 20 families, Kelapa Gading District 10 families, Kembangan District 4 families, Tebet District 5 families.
A similar incident also occurred in Mampang Prapatan District 18 families, Kebayoran Lama District 1 families, and Pancoran District 3 families, Jagakarsa District 14 families, Pesanggrahan District 8 families, Matraman District 11 families, Jatinegara District 9 families, and Duren Sawit District 14 families.
Another finding, Bawaslu noted that there were panteranglih who did not have or show SK while on duty, namely 1 panteranglih in Kelapa Gading District and 41 pantarih in Kebayoran Lama District.

"For the wrong coklit procedure, today the DKI Bawaslu has written a letter regarding suggestions for improvement to the DKI KPU. If it is not heeded, then we will make it a finding," explained Benny.
"The 2017 Pilkada incident, there are many voters who cannot vote because the process of drafting an inaccurate voter list tends to use shortcuts. So this must be anticipated from an early age," he added.
