BOGOR - Bogor Regency Government (Pemkab) revealed that the arrangement of the Puncak tourist area will be equipped with a number of public facilities in the area of former street vendors or street vendors, starting from pedestrian paths to viewing platforms.

A number of requirements for the arrangement of Puncak that have been proposed to Vice President (Wapres) Ma'ruf Amin such as a safety fence or guard rail, improving road quality in the form of widening and coating roads, pedestrians, parks, viewing platforms, and retaining walls.
Then, in terms of security and safety, the Bogor Regency Government proposes the installation of traffic signs, as well as public street lighting or PJU.
In addition, the Bogor Regency Government also needs the expansion of the Gunung Mas Rest Area, whose land belongs to PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) from the original 7 hectares, which was proposed to add 4 hectares.
"It also needs a joint post, the goal is to monitor the connection between traffic and disasters. Then later there will be a center of information center, there will be a traffic control dashboard," said Ajat.
The Bogor Regency Government is currently trying to organize the Puncak tourist area, starting with the transfer of street vendors to the Gunung Mas Rest Area on Monday, June 24.

In controlling this merchant stall, the Bogor Regency Government razed 329 buildings along the Puncak Line, consisting of 185 buildings from Gantole to the Gunung Mas Rest Area, and 144 buildings from the Taman Safari Indonesia Intersection to the Gunung Mas Rest Area.
Now, there are still 194 street vendors who will be moved to rest areas by controlling their stalls along the Puncak Line.
Ajat ensures that the economy of street vendors or street vendors in this tourist area will be better after moving to the Gunung Mas Rest Area.
The construction of a rest area on an area of 7 hectares belonging to PT Perkebunan Nusantara has been carried out since 2020-2021.
The Gunung Mas Rest Area has a capacity of 516 kiosks consisting of 100 stalls for wet traders such as vegetables and fruit, as well as 416 kiosks for dry traders such as souvenirs and snacks. Each kiosk has an area of 11 square meters, both wet and dry.
