Involved In Land Fraud, Buron Invader From Sleman Arrested By The DIY Prosecutor's Office
YOGYAKARTA - The Fugitive Arrest Team (Tabur) of the Yogyakarta Special Region High Prosecutor's Office (DIY) arrested a convict in a land certificate fraud case named Noor Anwar which has been assigned to the wanted list or DPO.
Head of Legal Information for the DIY Prosecutor's Office, Herwatan, in his statement quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 16, said that the convict Noor Anwar (59) was arrested by the Tabur Team on Saturday at 13.30 WIB at Wisma Tamu UKSW Jalan Laksda Adisucipto, Salatiga, Central Java.
"Arrested while giving a lecture at a Free Glasses Donation event in Salatiga City," he said.
When arrested, the convict Noor Anwar was cooperative to join the Tabur Team to account for his actions at the Sleman Kejari. After a health check was carried out and declared healthy, Noor Anwar was immediately sent to the Class II B Penitentiary in Sleman.
Herwatan explained that the land certificate fraud case began when the defendant I Mohammad Jai bin H. Kastindan and defendant II Noor Anwar bin Soediaso Pertomo were charged with violating the first Article 378 in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code or the second indictment of Article 372 in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code.
Furthermore, the public prosecutor (JPU) found the two defendants guilty of committing a criminal act of fraud together and was charged with imprisonment for 2 years and 6 months each.
Based on the prosecutor's demands, then on February 28, 2019, the panel of judges at the Sleman District Court decided that the two defendants were legally and convincingly proven guilty of committing a criminal act of fraud together by imposing a prison sentence of 2 years each.

After the cassation decision was received, the Public Prosecutor's Office of Sleman immediately executed the defendant I Mohammad Jai.
"However, the defendant Noor Anwar bin Soediaso Pertomo when he was about to be executed, it turned out that he was not there as the address in the indictment," said Herwatan.
