Surabaya Police Arrest Bandar Judi Slot Royal Dream With A Turnover Of IDR 1 Billion/Month
Surabaya Police arrested slot gambling dealerRoyal Dream with a turnover of up to IDR 1 billion per month through the sale of the chip mined from the JITBIT application.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Surabaya Police, AKBP Hendro Sukmono, said that six suspects were arrested by the Jatanras Unit of the Surabaya Satreskrim Polrestabes, namely, RA (25) as the boss of the slot bookie and five employees, ANH (37), AH (25), ASE (28), AW (42) and DAK (42) who are all residents of Sidoarjo.
"The mining results are accommodated in 20 accounts automatically with an application tool called JITBIT with the intention of making it easier and able to send Royal Dream chips to customers via e-commerce (electronic trading platform)," said AKBP Hendro as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 15.
Within a day, he continued, the perpetrators mined the chip to be sold to other players and could produce around 500 bullion chips.
Then, he said, the five employees who were recruited with a salary of Rp. 2.5 million per month, sold the chips to the gamblers through the e-commerce site for Rp. 65,000 per one trillion chip.
"As a result, their turnover within a month for the sale of the slot chili won reached more than Rp. 1 billion," he explained.
From the suspects, his party confiscated 27 computers (CPU), 35 monitors, four WiFi modems, one laptop, 27 keyboards, one CCTV decoder, two devices and four ATM cards.

Meanwhile, suspect RA admitted that the idea of mining chip to be sold to slot gambling players was obtained by himself, namely learning via the internet.
"I learned myself by self-taught via the internet. I learned how to record and it will run automatically," he said.
As a result of their actions, the suspects were charged with Article 303 of the Criminal Code concerning gambling with a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 10 billion.
