YOGYAKARTA - The Central General Hospital (RSUP) Dr Sardjito Yogyakarta stated that the body of Chinese men's singles badminton player Zhang Zhi Jie since he died on Sunday (30/6) was still stored in the hospital's cooler.
Head of Legal and Public Relations Section of Dr Sardjito Hospital, Banu Hermawan, confirmed that although Zhang's body has been in good condition for almost two weeks or is safe from damage due to the decomposition or decay process.
"God willing, it will last a long time, because our freezer (cold cooling) has also been able to do it in the long term. There is no treatment, only stored," said Banu as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, July 12.
Dr Sardjito Hospital, said Banu, is still waiting for information regarding the family's decision on the body of the Chinese men's singles badminton player.
According to him, no information has yet been obtained, including from the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI).

Zhang's family, he said, had been facilitated by an audience with representatives of the Chinese Badminton Association (CBA) regarding the provision of information from tournament doctor Dr. S. Hardjolukito as a referral hospital and dr. Sardjito on Friday (5/7).
"At that time, the family had not provided any plans or confirmations. (Until today) there is no such thing. We are only passive," said Banu.
