Persib Promotes Serious Target In The 2024 President's Cup As A Preparation For Liga 1 2024/2025
JAKARTA - Persib Bandung welcomed the 2024 President's Cup on July 19, 2024. Persib Bandung coach, Bojan Hodak, said that this agenda could be a warm-up event ahead of Liga 1 2024/2025.
"This (Presidential Cup 2024) is good because we don't need to schedule a trial. So, we will play three games at least."
"This is certainly good for our preparation for the league," said Persib Bandung coach Bojan Hodak, in a statement quoted on Friday, July 12, 2024.
The 2024 President's Cup is planned to be held at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung Regency. Welcoming the agenda, Bojan explained that the serious target of going through pre-season even though victory is not something that is always being pursued.

"The target is not grandiose, only the most important thing is that the team is ready to face League 1," he said.
Previously, the Chairman of PSSI, Erick Thohir, stated that the 2024 Presidential Cup would also be opened directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo at the Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung Regency.
There are only eight teams that will participate in the 2024 President's Cup. The eight teams are participants from Liga 1 2024/2025 who will compete for prizes of IDR 5 billion.
"There will be a press conference later. Yes, where are the details of the city, what kind of schedule, so that later the committee will explain specifically," said Erick Thohir.
