President Jokowi Checks Prices Of Basic Materials At The Great City Market Of Lampung

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) visited Pasar Kota Agung, Tanggamus Regency, Lampung, to check the prices of basic commodities and provide working capital assistance to local residents.

Jokowi, known for his blusukan style, had a dialogue with several traders to determine price conditions and stock availability at Pasar Kota Agung.

Yunus, a chili and onions trader, shared his dialogue experience with the President about the commodity prices he sold.

According to him, the price of around Rp. 35,000 for red chilies and Rp. 25,000 for shallots is normal. "If the stock is safe, for the last three months it is safe," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, July 12.

He also admitted that he was very happy to receive additional capital from the President.

Mrs. Ning, a vegetable trader, expressed her joy after being able to take pictures and shake hands with the President.

He also expressed his hope that all rupiah fighters would be successful, and would like to express their gratitude to the President.

"My main goal is to be able to say hello to Mr. Jokowi. I'm really happy to see you in front of your face," said Mrs. Ning with great enthusiasm.

Bu Yatin, another trader who received assistance, expressed his gratitude to the President. He plans to use the aid to buy children's school clothes and basic necessities.

"Happy. Thank you, Mr. Jokowi," he said.

This visit is part of a series of activities by President Jokowi in Lampung Province, which demonstrates his commitment to supporting small traders and ensuring the availability and stability of basic commodities.
