BWF Negligence For France Has 2 Men's Doubles At The 2024 Olympics
JAKARTA The negligence committed by the International Badminton Mother (BWF) in calculating points towards the 2024 Paris Olympics has forced the French hosts to have two men's doubles who got pass tickets.
The latest pair confirmed to appear is Ronan Labar/Lucas Corvee. They qualified after winning a lawsuit at the Sports Arbitration Court (CAS) over the case of miscalculing points.
Ronan/Lucas will accompany their colleague, Christo Popov/Toma Junior Popov. Thus, for the first time in history, France has two men's doubles playing at the Olympics.
After the European tour, Ronan/Lucas were actually at the top of the Race to Olympic rankings compared to the Popov brothers. However, the aftermath of the mistakes made by BWF instead shifted them in unsafe places and the Popov brothers who escaped.

Ronan/Lucas then took the appeal route because they were annoyed with this problem. The effort also paid off and CAS ordered them to be included in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
BWF then waited for a decision from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and it was allowed. It automatically makes the entry in the men's doubles number increase to 17 pairs.
All participants will be divided into four groups in the men's doubles number stage. With Ronan/Lucas input, it is certain that one of the groups will be inhabited by five couples.
The draw for the 2024 Olympic sport will take place at the BWF office, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Friday, July 12, 2024, at 15.00 WIB. This sport will compete from 27 July to 5 August 2024.
Meanwhile, Indonesia has nine badminton athletes who will appear in Paris later. In detail, there are men's doubles, mixed, and female pairs as well as three other athletes from the women's and men's singles numbers.
Men's singles have as many as two representatives who go there or the most compared to other sectors. The two names are Jonatan Christie and Anthony Sinisuka Ginting.
