Bali Police Raid LPG Pengoplos Warehouse, Evidence Hundreds Of Tubes Confiscated

The police raided a 3-kilogram subsidized LPG gas supply warehouse at a rented house on Jalan Nagasari, Denpasar City, Bali.

The perpetrator of the mixing with the initials KS alias Letut was arrested. The perpetrator is suspected of mixing LPG gas from a size of 3 kilograms to 12 kilograms.

"Subdit IV of the Bali Police Direskrimsus managed to secure residents who were desperate to mix 3 kilograms of subsidy gas," said Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police, Kombes Jansen Avitus Panjaitan, Friday, July 12.

Initially the police received information from the public, on Thursday (11/7) and immediately went to the location.

"When the interrogation was carried out on the owner of KS, he admitted that the 12 kilogram non-subsidized LPG gas in the Toyota Avanza car was taken from consumers and will be refilled or mixed by transferring the contents of the LPG gas cylinder subsidy of 3 kilo grams into LPG gas cylinders to a size of 12 kilograms," he added.

In addition, KS handed over an iron pipe measuring about 15 cm which is a tool used to mix LPG gas.

"Currently, the alleged perpetrator KS is being detained at the Bali Police Ditreskrimsus Detention Center for further investigation. We hope that anyone and anywhere else will find problems like this or others so that they will be informed to the nearest police and we guarantee the confidentiality and security of the reporter," said Kombes Jansen.
