Knock! DPR Approves PMN Of IDR 44.24 Trillion For 16 SOEs
JAKARTA - Commission VI of the House of Representatives (DPR) officially approved the granting of State Capital Participation (PMN) for Fiscal Year 2025 to 16 SOEs with a value of IDR 44.24 trillion.
Deputy Chairman of Commission VI of the DPR as the chair of the meeting, Sarmuji said, many positive considerations based on the performance of the Ministry of SOEs and state-owned companies in recent years which made PMN's proposal of Rp44.24 trillion were approved by almost all members of Commission VI of the DPR.
One of them, continued Sarmuji, is that the current number of PMN given by the state is much smaller than the dividend payments provided by SOEs for the state.
"Commission VI of the DPR RI received an explanation and approved the proposed State Capital Participation for the 2025 fiscal year from the Ministry of SOEs," said Sarmuji when reading the conclusions of a working meeting with the Minister of SOEs, at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Wednesday, July 10.
Before being knocked, each faction provided a note. Member of Commission VI of the House of Representatives from the PDI-P faction, Haris Turino, said that his faction was aware that the dividends given by SOEs to the state were IDR 279.7 trillion during 2019 to 2024, which were greater than the realization of PMN which was only IDR 226.1 trillion.
"In addition to donating dividends to the state, we appreciate that SOEs will contribute to state revenue through PNBP, thus in order to support the better performance of SOEs in the future, we support the provision of PMN to SOEs," said Haris.
