Manulife Indonesia Customers Make It Easier To Pay Premiums By Autodebet Through BRI

PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk makes it easier for Manulife Indonesia customers to pay for insurance premiums automatically through the automation of the system provided by BRI through BRI through BRIPI Autodebet.

This was made possible thanks to the collaboration between BRI and PT Asuransi Jiwa Manulife Indonesia (Manulife Indonesia). The collaboration was confirmed by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on "Utilization of Banking Services" held in Jakarta on Wednesday.

"Cooperation with Manulife Indonesia is a manifestation of BRI's commitment to support the digitization of customer business processes," said BRI Director of Wholesale and Institutional Business Agus Noorsanto quoting Antara.

As one of the largest banks in Indonesia, Agus said that BRI always customizes products in order to provide optimal service to customers.

With the experience of BRI and Manulife Indonesia in the financial services industry, the collaboration between the two parties is proof of support for supporting the digitization of business processes in the financial services industry. This collaboration is expected to provide added value for both parties.

Director & Chief Financial Officer of Manulife Indonesia Meylindawati said that her party welcomes the collaboration with BRI to provide easy access for Indonesian Manulife customers in making premium payments through account autodebets so that transactions are more effective and efficient.

"This collaboration is in line with our goal to always facilitate customer decisions and make customers' lives better. In addition, collaboration with BRI is a tangible manifestation of Indonesia's Manulife commitment in reaching wider customers to remote areas," said Meylindawati.

Not only making it easier to pay premiums, the collaboration between the two parties provides benefits for Manulife Indonesia customers with access to a wide network of BRI branch offices, including in various rural areas in Indonesia.

The collaboration will also provide benefits for BRI and Manulife Indonesia customers through a faster and more efficient automation process in collecting premiums.

In addition to the automation of the BRIPI Autodebet system, BRI also provides financial transaction management services efficiently and end to end through the Qlola by BRI platform.

Qlola is a digital financial solution for companies where companies can access BRI services with only one sign on such as Financial Dashboard, Cash Management, Supply Chain Management, Forex, which is equipped with a multi-language function, one of which is Mandarin.

Launched in 2022, QLola by BRI experienced an increase in customer cash management volume by 41.94 percent year-on-year (YoY) to nearly Rp8,450 trillion that occurred in the wholesale and non-wholesale segments. The company also noted that QLola as an integrated corporate solution from BRI has also received clients of more than 4,800 new clients.
