Todong Pistol, An 18-year-old Teenager Who Stole A Car In Front Of A US Supreme Court Judge's House Shot

JAKARTA - An American Marshal (US) allegedly shot an 18-year-old teenager who tried to rob his car while standing guard outside the house of Supreme Court judge Sonia Sotomayor.

At that time the suspect, Kentrell Flowers, approached Marshal and pointed a gun, according to the DC Marshal Metropolitan Police Department and then fired an official weapon until the suspect suffered a gunshot wound.

The Deputy Marshal involved in the shooting incident was part of a unit protecting the residence of a US Supreme Court judge, a US Marshals spokesman told ABC News on Wednesday, July 10.

The robber was arrested and charged with car hijacking, carrying an unlicensed gun and possession of a large capacity ammunition supplier, according to the police. The car robbery attempt was reported to have occurred in the early hours of Friday, July 5.

"Officers involved in the shooting incident are still under investigation by an investigative team investigating all law enforcement officers involved in the shooting in the District of Columbia," the police department said on Tuesday, July 9.
