8 Times Enthusiasm Expert To The White House, Joe BIden Healthy?
JAKARTA - Dr Kevin Cannard, a parkinson expert, is known to have come to the White House eight times in eight months.
In a letter released by the president's doctor, Dr. Kevin O'Connor, he emphasized that Doctor Cannard is a neurological specialist who examines US President Joe Biden for every annual physical examination.
Canard's visit to the White House did not represent an examination of the president, according to O'Connor's letter. Cannard is involved in various concerns for others other than the president at the White House, O'Connor said in his notes.
Before the pandemic, and after the pandemic ended, [Cannard] had held a routine Neurology clinic at the White House Medical Clinic to support thousands of active members assigned to support White House operations," reads his letter as quoted by ABC News, Tuesday, July 9.
Many military personnel experience neurological problems related to their duties, and Dr. Canard regularly visits WHMU as part of this General Neurology Practice, "wrote the letter.
Regarding Biden's physical examination, O'Connor noted that President Biden had never met a neurologist outside his annual physical examination.
OConnor also stressed that Biden's latest physical examination found no signs of Parkinson's, which he signed in a letter dated February 28.
Meanwhile, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre declined to confirm these details on Monday morning, citing privacy concerns.

O'Connor in his letter offered full support to Dr. Cannard and his work as Consultant for Neurology at the White House since 2012.
"Dr. Cannard was chosen for this responsibility not because he is a specialist in movement disorders, but because he is a highly trained and highly respected neurologist here at Walter Red and throughout the Military Health System, with a very broad skill that makes him flexible to see a wide range of patients and their problems," he wrote.
As ABC News reported earlier on Monday, a Parkinson's disease expert visited the White House eight times over an eight-month span between last July and March this year, including one visit to the president's personal doctor, according to White House visitors.
Asked repeatedly at a press conference on Monday, July 8, about Cannard, Jean-Pierre declined to say whether the neurologist had ever treated the president or consulted his treatment, citing privacy.
But he said Biden was not treated for Parkinson's disease.
