Geely Holding Group Records Impressive Car Sales In The First Half Of 2024

JAKARTA - Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (Generally Holding) announced that combined sales for June 2024 across its automotive brands reached 266,164 vehicles. This figure shows an increase of 14.3 percent compared to the same period last year.

In the manufacturer's global release, quoted July 9, the impressive achievement in June continued Geely Holding's positive trend in the first half of 2024. Their total sales during that period reached 1,493,715 units, up 25 percent compared to last year. More interestingly, sales of electric vehicles (EVs), HEVs, and PHEVs reached 586,480 units, up 49 percent compared to the same period last year.

Electric vehicles are increasingly in demand. In June 2024 alone, sales of this type of vehicle reached 120,879 units, up 53.1 percent compared to last year. This figure represents 45.4 percent of Geely Holding's total sales that month.

Geely's sales outside China also experienced significant growth. During the first half of this year, they managed to sell 587,271 vehicles outside China, up 22 percent compared to the same period last year.
