Brain Cipher Hacker Claims To Have Deleted All PDNS 2 Databases

JAKARTA - After providing a decryption key for the Temporary National Data Center (PDNS) last week, the Brain Cipher hacker group said it would not wait for confirmation from the PDNS. They believe that the key is correct and can function to recover the data there.

We will not wait for an answer from the data center. We believe the key is working, we hope local specialists can recover it without a problem," Brain Cipher wrote in his latest post.

They also emphasized where they would not sell the data. And if a PDNS data sale is found on behalf of Brain Cipher, then it is fake.

Until now, there has been no further information regarding the decryption key given. However, before officially resigning from the Director General of Informatics Applications (Aptika) of the Ministry of Communications and Informatics, Semuel Abrijani Pangerapan said they had tried the key.
