PKS President Proposes DPR Leadership Chair Filled With All Party Representatives To MPR

JAKARTA - PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu received a visit to the national gathering of the MPR leadership at the PKS DPP office, South Jakarta.

During the meeting, Syaikhu proposed to the Chairman of the MPR, Bambang Soesatyo (Bamsoet) that the seats led by the DPR be filled by representatives of all factions or parties who pass to Parliament, according to the composition of the MPR and DPD leaders.

"So we certainly appreciate the development of the MPR today, where all factions are represented by all factions in the leadership. If the MPR is added to the DPD RI. Now, for the DPR, of course, there are fewer factions in the DPR RI," said Syaikhu during a press conference, Monday, July 8.

"Well, of course it is still more possible for it to be realized so that all factions have representation as DPR leaders," he continued.

According to Syaikhu, communication between parties will be easier if there are representatives of factions in the chair of the leadership of the DPR.

"I think when we communicated between political parties it would be easier when the representation in the leadership was all representative," he explained.

Responding to this, Bamsoet considered that the proposal was very useful. He agreed that if there were representatives of political parties in the leadership, it would be easier to establish communication.

"If this discourse can be accommodated and realized, I personally welcome it, because I myself feel the benefits of all representatives of political parties in the leadership of the MPR. So if the DPR can imitate it is very good," he said on the same occasion.

The deputy of the Golkar Party then revealed his experience at the MPR. Bamsoet said, communication between all political parties became smoother when there were representatives in every leadership seat.

"This has been implemented and proven by the current MPR, where all political parties and representatives of the DPD have one representative in the leadership of the MPR," he concluded.
