Prosecutors Call SYL And Attorneys Placing Their Own Hands About Green House Ketum Political Parties: Turpit Sambel

JAKARTA - The Public Prosecutor (JPU) said that Syahrul Yasin Limpo or SYL and his attorney seemed to hate his own saliva regarding the chairman of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh.

Meyer made this statement when he mentioned that the SYL camp had stated that it would open up all the flow of corruption money from the Ministry of Agriculture.

"That in the trial and also through the media, in steps to achieve justice, legal advisors and defendants stated that they would clearly open all the flow of money from the ministry's corruption, including those suspected of flowing to the leadership of certain parties. The flow of ministry money which is said to be a green house in the Thousand Islands belongs to a certain party," said Attorney Meyer Simanjuntak when reading the Replik, at the Jakarta Corruption Court, Monday, July 8.

However, the prosecutor considered that the statement was just a clash. Because, in SYL's plea and his attorney did not even mention this matter.

"However, this statement has not been more than raided by chilies and empty messages that are usually conveyed in people's markets. Because, in the Pleidoi memorandum and the defendant was not conveyed at all the flow of money as previously stated," he said.

In fact, SYL and his attorney seemed to be garnering at his own saliva regarding the statement.

It is known that SYL's attorney, Djamaluddin Koedoeboen, had mentioned the green house belonging to one of the leaders of political parties whose construction uses Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) money. However, when SYL's defense note praised and responded to Surya Paloh.

"Bak eats his own saliva, in Pleidoi's memorandum he is grateful to praise and even pray for the party leader in question. It's a bit like Laen, but that's the fact," Meyer said.

In the case of extortion and gratification, Syahrul Yasin Limpo was sentenced to 12 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 500 million, subsidiary to 6 months in prison. He was also asked to pay compensation of around Rp. 44 billion and US$ 30 thousand.

The claim was made because the prosecutor believed that SYL violated Article 12 letter e in conjunction with Article 18 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code (KUHP) in conjunction with Article 64 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code
