Semuel A. Pangerapan Mundur, Menkominfo Appoint Ismail Jadi Plt. Director General Aptika
JAKARTA - Semuel Abrijani Pangerapan has announced his resignation as Director General of Informatics Applications (Aptica) of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology on Thursday, July 4.
After this decision, the Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie Setiadi officially appointed Ismail as the new Acting Director General of Aptika, replacing Semmy.
In a letter received by the media, Minister of Communication and Information Budi has given this mandate to Ismail. With this decision, Ismail, who is the Director General of Postal Resources and Informatics (SDPPI), now serves as Plt. Director General of Aptika Kominfo.
Ismail's appointment as Plt. The Director General of Aptika was later also confirmed by the Director General of Information and Public Communication (IKP) of Kominfo, Usman Kansong.
"That's right, yesterday," said Usman to VOI when confirmed on Friday, July 5 at the same time answering that Ismail's new position will be effective as of July 4, 2024.

Meanwhile, when met by the media at the same time in different places, Ismail could not provide any comment regarding his new assignment as Plt. Director General of Aptika.
"Just a day I haven't been able to answer anything. I wasn't appointed just Plt together," said Ismail.
Meanwhile, the resignation of Semmy from the Director General of Aptika Kominfo is a form of its moral responsibility, as a result of the ransomware attack that occurred against the Temporary National Data Center (PDNS).
