The Ministry Of Transportation Optimizes Motor Vehicle Type Tests On Brand Holders And Importers, This Is The Goal
The Directorate General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) through the Directorate of Road Transportation Facilities optimizes motor vehicle type test services for brand and general importer agents so that they run smoothly.
"The Directorate General of Land Transportation as an institution that certifies motorized vehicles is responsible for ensuring that motorized vehicles operated on the road meet technical and roadworthy requirements through motor vehicle type testing," said Director of Road Transportation Facilities of the Directorate General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation Danto as reported by ANTARA, Friday, July 5.
Danto said that his party continues to strive to improve mutual understanding of stakeholders towards regulations and standards related to motorized vehicles in accordance with the latest technological developments and international regulations.
He said one of them was by holding Technical Development of Brand Holder Agents and General Importers of Motorized Vehicles with the theme Optimizing Motor Vehicle Type Test Services' which was carried out in Bali for two days on 4-5 July 2024.
According to Danto, digitalization has penetrated various sectors that have a significant impact, one of which is the transportation sector.
"We have to adapt to technology that is developing quite rapidly today, both in terms of regulations, policies and test facilities to improve the quality of motor vehicle type test services," said Danto.

Meanwhile, Head of Motor Vehicle Type Test Sub-Directorate of the Directorate of Road Transportation Facilities Yusuf Nugroho said the activity was aimed at socializing the latest policies in the field of motor vehicle type testing.
In addition, increasing the understanding of brand agency holders and general importers regarding regulations in the field of motor vehicle type testing.
Then, get input from partners regarding technological developments to improve regulations in the field of motor vehicle type testing. As well as to improve motor vehicle type test services.
"This activity was attended by 50 participants who were representatives of brand holding agents and general importers of motorized vehicles in Indonesia," said Yusuf.
