Review Of Handsome Guys Movies: Absurd Comedy That Hits And Miss But Entertains
JAKARTA - Handsome Guys is here as a comedy to enliven South Korean cinema. This film marks the image of Nam Dong Hyeop, which is an adaptation of a Canadian film called Tucker & Dale vs. Evil which aired in 2010.
This film presents a number of actors such as Lee Seung Min, Lee Hee Joon and supporting actors such as Gong Seung Yeon, Park Jeong Hwa who are known as Jeonghwa EXID, Lee Kyu Hyung, and Park Ji Hwan.
Handsome Guys tells the story of a couple named Sang Goo (Lee Hee Joon) and Jae Pil (Lee Sung Min) who buy a house near the foot of the mountain. They saved 10 years to get the mansion.
Sang Goo and Jae Pil always need each other because they never have male friends or are close to women.
In addition, a group of teenagers was on vacation at a nearby villa and thought Sang Goo and Jae Pil were serial killers. They suspect their friend Mi Na (Gong Seung Yeon) was kidnapped by the two people.
Because of their busy schedule, they do not know that the luxury house occupied harbors a big mystery and something big is back. Then Mi Na helped Sang Goo and Jae Pil take care of the mystery while the group of teenagers tried to kill the two men.
Handsome Guys blends horror comedy nicely and in total. Slapstick-made scenes are able to make laughter, so with the horror scenes that are very scary. In some parts, even this film features both.

The horror scene presented also leads to a gore that has an embitrant effect because of its extraordinary visuals. Some of the sub-plans may be able to remind viewers of the 2000s-era horror film franchise.
Initially, the selection of the title Handsome Guys raised questions. But after watching it, we found out why the film was titled this. Not only about his appearance, but this film shows the handsome character stereotypes that are often found in similar stories.
The comedy does not always run smoothly, tends to hit and miss but humor is indeed a matter of taste so the comedy element also supports storytelling.
Interestingly, the various sub plots went well until they found the conclusion. Seen fringes but still effective make the audience laugh. There is no need to think much because the answer to the question will be presented throughout the film.
