Trump's Allies Intensify Attack On Kamalla Harris Who Is Championed To Replace Biden In The US Presidential Election
JAKARTA - The Donald Trump campaign team and some of its allies have launched a preventive political attack on Vice President Kamala Harris.
Reuters reviewed that Trump's allies moved quickly to try to discredit it amid talks among some Democratic colleagues, Harris may replace President Joe Biden to run in the 2024 US presidential election.
On social media and in various statements over the past 48 hours, the Trump campaign team and its Republican allies appear to be preparing an all-out attack on Harris if 81-year-old Biden decides to end his re-election, following his weak debate performance last week.
Although Biden insisted he would not back down from his candidacy four months before the November 5 elections, and Harris firmly supported him, Trump's campaign team would not have lost if it attacked the vice president now.

That way, if Harris actually appears as a presidential candidate, he might do so in a weak state.
Republicans have frequently criticized Harris, 59, during Biden's tenure, but this week's attacks show sharp and seemingly coordinated escalation that appears to be linked to growing talks about Harris' possibility of replacing Biden as a Democratic presidential candidate.
"Kamala Harris is incompetent. He has proven to be the weakest and worst vice president in history, and he 100% supports Joe Biden in every bad policy he has implemented over the past four years," said Krypto Leavitt, Trump's campaign spokesman.
The Biden campaign team rejected the increasing criticism from Republicans without answering the question of whether the vice president would wait in second place.
