Central Java Education And Culture Wait For The Results Of The Inspectorate Regarding Allegations Of The PPDB Fake Charter
SEMARANG - The Central Java Education and Culture Office is still waiting for the results of the clarification process that is being carried out by a team from the Inspectorate regarding the alleged fake charter for the acceptance of new students (PPDB) SMA/SMK Negeri 2024.
"The information with the charter is included in the document supporting the achievement path. Currently, the APIP team (Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus) is being clarified by the Inspectorate," said Head of Central Java Education and Culture, Uswatun Hasanah, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, July 1.
This was conveyed in response to the allegedly fake charter used by a number of state high school graduates (SMP) in Semarang to register at the high school level at PPDB Central Java 2024.
The charter came from the Malaysia International Virtual Band Championship 2022 competition which stated that the Gita Bahana Group Smepsa SMPN 1 Semarang won a gold medal or won first place.
However, based on a search on the official website of the competition organizers, the Gita Bahana Smepsa Group only got a bronze medal so that the certificate that was included when registering was finally disallowed.
Uswatun ensured that the alleged fake charter did not affect the implementation of the PPDB results, which were scheduled for July 1, at a maximum of 23.59 WIB through the "ppdb.jatengprov.go.id" page.
Regarding whether additional points for prospective students who include the certificate will be deleted or what, he admitted that he could not comment because he was waiting for the results from the Central Java Inspectorate.
"What is clear is that at this time we don't know the results yet. What will the results look like when it is announced will appear. And there is still a re-registration process while waiting for the results of the clarification from the APIP team," he said.
Central Java Inspector Dhoni Widianto explained that currently, he is still clarifying the alleged parties who aim to find out the facts of the incident and are targeted to be completed before the re-registration period ends.

During the clarification process, he said, the APIP team continued to explore based on the information submitted which was then developed to reveal the facts that actually occurred in the case.
"For that, we are investigating. Clear clarification to the suspect. We are still focused on finding the facts. So, our job is only to find the real facts. It has not yet reached the sanctions," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Central Java Ombudsman Representative Siti Farida appreciated the process of handling cases of alleged fake certificates by the Central Java Inspectorate and the commitment of the Central Java Education and Culture Office.
"We at the ombudsman also received the same substance of the report, but the report is currently being examined by service providers, in this case Disdikbud and also the Inspectorate. So, we are coordinating," he said.
He emphasized that the Central Java Ombudsman gave full support so that the announcement of the PPDB results remained on schedule, while the problem of cassistic nature would be resolved objectively.
"We will prepare a kind of 'care' that is closest to objectives. We also prioritize protection for children, anyone, that child must be protected legally and has the right to go to school," he said.
