PLN Nusantara Power Books The Performance Of Cemerlang At The 2023 GMS
JAKARTA - The General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) of PLN Nusantara Power reported that it has succeeded in encouraging the investment performance of PLN NP from co-investment with strategic partners that have developed in terms of company operations so as to deposit a profit of IDR 2.1 trillion from PT PLN's total profit (Persero) of IDR 22.07 trillion or 9.58 percent.
President Director of PLN Nusantara Power, Ruly Firmansyah explained, apart from the significant growth in finance, PLN Nusantara Power also recorded positive performance from sales of electricity and also the performance of association companies.
"Through co-investment, it shows that PLN NP's collaboration with strategic partners does not only provide operational but also financial contributions so that PLN NP is ready to develop investment in new generators through strategic partnerships," explained Ruly, Monday, July 1.
PLN NP also recorded a profit of Rp13.67 trillion rupiah which also reached 167 percent of the company's target.
"PLN Nusantara Power managed to deposit a profit of Rp. 13.7 trillion to PT PLN (Persero) as the holding company. This is one of the markers of our company's performance, which is very good," explained Ruly.
Rully emphasized that PLN NP always strives to maintain operational excellence in generating performance as reflected in the achievement of good operations by KPI.
Where the achievement of the Java-Bali Non-PLTU Generation EAF has been achieved by more than 100 percent, as well as the EAF of PLTU and Non-PLTU Generations outside Java-Bali which has been achieved exceeding the 100 percent target.
The company also supports the transformation program of PLN Green and Lean by implementing the carbon emission reduction program which has reached 0.594 percent or 110 percent of the 2023 target.

PLN NP, continued Ruly, also supports the new renewable energy transition program through investment in the development of EBT plants in accordance with the RUPTL including the Cirata Floating PLTS, Batang Toru hydropower plant, Tanah Laut PLTB, IKN PLTS, Karbates Floating PLTS, Batam Floating PLTS and Dedieselized PLTS with a total power plant capacity of 969.9 MW and BESS 192.39 MWh.
PLN NP has also successfully signed 3 foreign cooperation contracts with Timor Leste and Bangladesh.
"With all the achievements that have been achieved, PLN NP is optimistic that it can run faster in 2024 and continue its brilliant achievements by making various efforts to accelerate the growth of the Company's business which focuses on realizing Net Zero Emission in 2060," concluded Ruly.
