Jokowi: Police Maintain Stability And Security Of Democracy
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi said the Indonesian Police (Polri) had a central role in maintaining the security of the democratic process and the stability of the country.
This statement was made by Jokowi when he was inspector of the ceremony at the 78th anniversary of Bhayangkara at the Monas Cross, Central Jakarta, Monday, July 1.
"First of all, I would like to congratulate the 78th Bhayangkara Day to the entire extended family of the Police wherever you are on duty," said Jokowi.
After congratulating him, Jokowi expressed his gratitude to all members of the National Police who have worked hard.
In particular, maintaining the security of the democratic process for the 2024 Umun Election (Pemilu) and international activities that make Indonesia proud.

"And thank you for the hard work of all members of the National Police in maintaining the stability and security of the 2024 election democracy process and the big agenda for Indonesia's development," he said.
The hard work of the National Police, said Jokowi, has resulted in Indonesia's success in surviving and even growing in the midst of global uncertainty, one example during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"So that our nation is able to continue to grow in the midst of current global challenges and uncertainties," said Jokowi.
