Minister Of Maldives Arrested For Presidential Santet
JAKARTA - Minister of the State of Environment, Climate Change and Energy Maldives, Fathimath Shamnaz Ali Saleem, along with two other people were arrested on suspicion of insulting the country's president.
The Minister of the Maldives Environment was arrested on June 23 in the capital Male, police said as reported by The Strait Times, Monday, July 1.
Currently Fathimath Shamnaz has been in detention for a week pending investigation.
There are reports that Shamnaz was arrested for committing black magic against President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, said local media The Sun.
The police did not confirm or deny the report.
