Pep Guardiola Wants Manhester City To Sign Joshua Kimmich And Dani Olmo

JAKARTA Pep Guardiola reportedly asked Manchester City management to try to bring in Joshua Kimmich from Bayern Munich and Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig during this summer's transfer market.

Kimmich is known to intend to leave Bayern this summer to look for new challenges, and a number of clubs are considered interested in the German international.

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Liverpool are said to be interested in the 29-year-old, whose contracts at the Allianz Arena remain until June 2025.

However, according to The Sun, there is also interest from Manchester City, and Kimmich is claimed to be ready to reunite with Pep Guardiola, who has coached him at Die Roten.

The report added Bayern priced Kimmich who is believed to prefer to move to the Premier League compared to the Spanish League about 40 million pounds.

Apart from Kimmich, the player on Guardiola's list is Dani Olmo. The Citizens were linked to the Spanish international last year and are believed to be considering trying to get Olmo back.

The 26-year-old player is known to have a release clause of 51 million pounds. Therefore, Manchester City must move quickly considering that Olmo is also the target of Barcelona and their city rivals, Manchester United.

Guardiola is said to want Olmo after Bernardo Silva's future, Julian Alvarez and Jack Grealish at the Etihad Stadium began to be in doubt. Incidentally, Dani Olmo is the type of versatile player like Silva, Alvarez and Grealish who are the favorites of the Spaniard coach.
