2,249 Hajj Pilgrims From Riau Have Returned To Indonesia
PEKANBARU - A total of 2,249 Hajjes from Riau Province arrived in the country until Saturday from five groups from 12 existing groups. This number was confirmed by the Acting Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Riau Province, Muliardi.
"The Riau Hajj as many as 2,249 people came from Pekanbaru City, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Kampar and Siak Regencies as well as two Hajj tanazul from Group 13," said Muliardi in Pekanbaru, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, June 29.
According to him, of the 2.249 hajjes that have returned, it was recorded that seven groups were in the holy land and gradually the Riau hajj would return to their homeland and for the first wave through King Abdul Aziz Jeddah airport, while for the second wave through Amir Muhammad Bin Abdul Aziz Airport.
He said that the Riau Province Hajj movement in the second wave had begun to enter Medina to carry out worship at the Prophet's Mosque and pilgrimages in Raudhah and others.

As reported by the Chairman of the BTH 12 Cluster Amri Fitri, Hajj from Meranti Islands Regency and Pelalawan are already in Medina City to carry out worship. There are Riau Hajj who live at the Taj Ward Hotel, Madinah City.
"Currently, some of the Riau Hajj pilgrims perform worship at the Prophet's Mosque and make pilgrimages to Raudhah and the Prophet Muhammad SAW's Tomb. The Riau Hajj Pilgrims in the BTH 12 cluster consist of 109 people from the Meranti Islands, 335 people from Pelalawan and five officers," he said.
The BTH 12 Cluster Health Team recommends Riau Hajj pilgrims use PPE while outdoors because many of them start to cough, fatigue and lack sleep.
"We recommend pilgrims to rest and not to impose worship, if they are outdoors to use personal protective equipment. Because many pilgrims have started coughing because it is recommended not to drink cold water and get enough rest, and drink oral drinks every day. we also recommend for treatment if needed," he concluded.
