New Jambi Hajj Pilgrims Return To Their Homeland Starting July 15

JAMBI - Starting July 15, 2024, pilgrims from Jambi Province are scheduled to return to their homeland from Saudi Arabia in stages.

Acting Head of Hajj and Umrah Organizers Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) Jambi Province Zeifni Ishaq in Jambi, Saturday, said the first batch scheduled to reach the country was BTH 22.

"It is scheduled to depart from Medina to Indonesia on July 15 and arrive in Jambi on July 16, 2024," he said, citing ANTARA, Saturday, June 29.

The Jambi Ministry of Religion Regional Office in the near future will hold a meeting to discuss the repatriation of pilgrims with the Regency/City Ministry of Religion.

He said that if he saw the schedule for the Hajj group to arrive during the day, they would immediately be returned to their respective districts and cities.

The first three batches, namely batches BTH 22, BTH 23 and BTH 24 are scheduled to arrive at the Jambi Hajj Dormitory during the day, so they are likely to be sent back to their respective areas.

While the last four batches, namely BTH 25 clusters, BTH 26, BTH 27, and BTH 28 are scheduled to arrive at the Jambi Hajj Dormitory at night. If possible, the pilgrims will be immediately returned to their respective areas, unless there is another policy from their respective district/city governments.

He hopes that the Jambi Hajj return process will run smoothly, safely and the congregation returns to the country in good health.

Just like departures, he continued, Hajj officers also continue to provide priority services for the elderly when returning to Jambi.
