The Rape At The British Horse Racing Grand Event, The Perpetrator Was A Cyclist For Victims On The Sidewalk

JAKARTA - Police are still hunting for the perpetrators of the rape that occurred at Royal Ascot, a grand racing event in England. People who attended the event were asked to report if they knew about the crime.

"The patrols in the area have been upgraded to make sure," Detective Inspector Liam Butler said, quoted by The Sun, Friday, June 28.

"We ask for help from the community and ask anyone who has information [related to rape] to report it," he continued.

The police said they had examined witnesses and found the characteristics of the teenager in his 20s.

The perpetrator is described as a white man with an average height and thin body.

When carrying out the action, the perpetrator wore a black head covering. He rode a dark bicycle with a yellow striped design.

The police explained that initially the victim was walking along the sidewalk near the Ascot station suddenly approached a man between 23.00 and 23.30 on Friday, June 21 local time.

This rape took place just hours after thousands of people attended Royal Ascot at the nearest racetrack. The next day, the race audience flocked back to the historic venue on Saturday, June 22.
