Apple Will Use New Technology On IPhone 16 Battery
JAKARTA Apple is developing a new technology that can make it easier to replace batteries on the iPhone. This technology will remove electrically induced adhesive bonds. Reporting from The Information, the current battery replacement requires the help of tweezers to remove the battery that is being held using an adhesive strip. Battery switching also requires special machines and batteries to suppress the new battery. Although some technicians do not object to the battery replacement process like this, Apple still wants to make it easier. Therefore, Apple will use metal to replace the foil material that covers the iPhone battery. If using metal battery wrappers, electronic technicians can release the battery by giving a little electric shock to the battery. Although the process will be made easier, users are still not advised to replace the battery themselves.

The plan is that this technology will be added to the iPhone 16 which will certainly be launched at the end of this year. Not only on the newer iPhone 16, the iPhone device in the following years will also use this technology. Actually, news of the use of the latest battery technology on the iPhone has emerged since last May. According to a Ming-Chi Kuo Analyst statement, quoted from 9to5mac, the iPhone 16 Pro battery will use metal casings for the first time. However, Kuo's statement shows that Apple is only replacing battery technology on the iPhone 16 Pro. It is not yet certain whether other models from the iPhone 16 series will also get this new technology.
