NUNUKAN - A widow in Nunukan Regency, North Kalimantan, was desperate to kill her own lover because she was upset for three years living at home but never married. As a result of her actions, the beautiful widow is now facing life imprisonment.

The bloody incident occurred on Tuesday. Yohanes (44), an honorary employee of the Nunukan Regency Government, was found covered in blood at his home in the Jalan Tanjung area, Nunukan Barat Village, Nunukan Regency.

From the results of the investigation and examination of 8 witnesses, the police finally arrested and named a woman with the initials B aged 39 years, as a brain and executor who had the heart to kill the victim.

Suspect B, who is also the victim's lover, had the heart to kill the victim by being stabbed with a kitchen knife.

"The perpetrator carried out the persecution because the perpetrator felt disappointed with the victim. It has been about three years living together but has not been married," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Nunukan Police, AKP Lusgi Simanungkalit in his statement, Friday, June 28.

According to Lusgi, initially suspect B had prepared a scenario to cover up his actions, claiming to be a victim of rape by a foreign man who burst into his house. However, based on the results of the crime scene (TKP) and the statements of witnesses, the suspect B's scenario was exposed.

"The perpetrators are also ashamed of their neighbors and friends, because from the statements of their neighbors they also know that they are married in an unregistered marriage, but they haven't," he added.
