Elderly In Bogor City Get Vaccinated For COVID-19 By Drive-Thru, Bima Arya Prays For Their Health
JAKARTA - The Health Office of Bogor City, West Java Province, has administered COVID-19 vaccination to 300 elderly people with a drive-thru pattern or not getting off the vehicle at the Pajajaran Sports Hall, Wednesday, March 17.
As reported by Antara, Wednesday, March 17, the Health Office provided four tables, and several health workers at each table, during the vaccination using the drive-thru pattern.
On the first table is the data collection section, where the officer records the elderly who will undergo vaccination, based on the form that has been prepared. The elderly who were in the data remained in the car and the health workers who approached the elderly to the car.
On the second table is screening, which is the initial medical examination, including measurement of blood pressure and heart rate.
"Elderly with controlled comorbidities, even though their blood pressure is up to 170, can still be vaccinated", said the Head of the Bogor City Health Office, Sri Nowo Retno, at the vaccination location at the Pajajaran Sports Hall, Bogor City.
Then, on the third and fourth tables is injection. The elderly who are declared to be vaccinated, on the second table, then the vaccine is injected at the third and fourth tables.

On this occasion, Bima had a dialogue with several elderly who were vaccinated. Bima also conveyed a prayer, that the elderly would always be healthy.
According to Retno, the implementation of vaccination for the elderly with a drive-thru pattern on Wednesday today is the first day of several scheduled days.
"Today is scheduled for vaccination for 300 elderly. Tomorrow and the following day, scheduled for 600 elderly per day", she said.
The Health Office has also scheduled vaccinations for the elderly in 25 health service facilities, namely hospitals and Puskesmas.
"We schedule and administer vaccinations to about 1.500 target people per day", she said.
According to Retno, the Health Office provided vaccines for around 22.000 people in the second phase of vaccination, out of 61.178 elderly registered with the Health Office.
